Another First!

Well and to me this is one of the most important first for every little girl.*grin* Last wekeend, I forgot to add this one to her many firsts, Addy recieved her first Tiffany's! Thanks Uncle and Aunty I love my new piggy plate and cup and cant wait to use them! But for now I also love my big Tiffany box!:)!

A weekend of firsts

This weekend we had a few fun firsts in our household;) One pretty big, and a few that just warmed my heart. The first cute little thing that I just want to record, is Addy's discovery of her hand movement. She found her hand a month or so ago and was quite fasinated by this tiny fist. But this wekeend we saw a big change in the way she now realized that she is so amazing and can make her hand move..wow majic:)*grin* its so sweet to watch her.
The second first that just warmed my heart happened on sat. I went to an all day womans conference with my girlfriends, and daddy D spent his first full day alone with miss Addy...seven whole hours! and might I say he did great!! She has been awesome all week, and so easy to please, that daddy got lucky with a happy clam, and had a great day together:) He even got her down for her two naps..I was quite proud:) but what warmed my heart was after being away from my little peanut for the longest stretch yet, I walked into the door to be greeted with the biggest smile and laugh! I grabbed my girl as she cluthed my hair, and burried her sweet little face into my shoulder...oh mommies home:)! It was one of those moments I dreamed about growing up and about having kids..the look of awe as their mama returns home! warmed my heart;)!

The big step though for my missy this weekend was her first taste of rice cereal...yumm yumm:) it was quite the hit! Proof in the pictures below:)!

The Brunette is back!

It was time! I was missing my dark hair, and now that the fall is here, and so many rich warm colors need to be worn..I needed my dark hair back:)! Daddy D was quite excited about this, as this was the color my hair was when he met me. whats with that...maybe it takes them back to the happy time, when everything was so fresh and new and exciting, i guess it takes him back to that happy place;)!haha! anyways, here I am, all ready for fall, not ready to embrass the winter though!

Helllooo number 16!!!

So this is what we spent our saturday morning doing! After an hour in the pouring rain waiting to see mr. trevor Linden...we did! It was well worth the rain drops:)! Addy did great and slept most of the line up wait till we got to the front of the line..waking up just in time to meet him:) I am not going to lie..I was a little speechless standing next to a guy who I have had a crush on for a good 20 years....it was quite awesome:)! What an experience;) I got my hockey cards signed..thats right MY hockey cards and we got my moms jersey signed for her as she was working..that's right HER official Trevor Linden jersey...can you tell we are Linden fans:) Anyways, we headed right to wal mart to get this picture up top deleped and framed and headed to my moms work to show her..and her newly signed Jersey...There were a few tears:)! Well worth it..such a fun way to spend a Saturday.! and now we are at home curled up in our cozy's having a snuglley afternoon:)!

Addyson 4 months!!

So hard to believe...she is four months old today!!! here are some pictures of her in her thanksgiving bib that she didn't even get to wear because we were in the states this thanksgiving...so she is sporting it today at four months old! Maybe we will have to celebrate american thanksgiving this year so she can wear it than:)!

So at four months miss addy is busy busy busy:) her personality is really starting to come out now more than ever! Her big accomplishment this month was learning to roll over from her back to tummy..but she hasn't quite figured out how to go back yet which equals some frustrating moments;)*grin* but she is getting more and more content being on her tummy for expended periods of time now..so its all good! She loves to giggle, usually when you blow raspberries on her belly or legs, make wierd faces at her, lift her up in the air and bounce her on your knee; these all gets lots of laughs! She loves to sqwack now too..sounds like a little dinsosaur or bird sometimes..we love it!! She still loves to stare and analyze things. She is still teething and we are waiting patiently for the first teeth to pop as its been a long month in that aspect. everything that can go in the mouth and be chewed on will! She has also become quite fascinated with food this last month...meaning our food!! Hopefully she will love her veggies one day!
She is still a big mama's girl, but she knows how to melt her daddies heart and gives him big smiles when he comes home from work:) She loves being at home, and is definetly showing more and more signs of being an introvert..shy in public and groups but once she gets comfortable she has lots to say to you! She is an amazing little traveller so far and does like being out and about, but only if she keeps moving in the stroller or can be looking around in her little carrier with daddy! I love being this little girls mom, and feel so blessed to spend every day with her!

Its time to pray. I hope you all are continueing to join with us every thursday at 12:30pm to pray for eachother! its power, and i know its working..so its three minutes to prayer time...and i just want you to know i am praying for you!

Brithday, and Zoo and shopping oh my!!

So this sat was my birthday!! I am the big 27 now:) Sounds so much scarrier to me than 26 for some reason;) Anyways, we headed down with my brother and sister in law for a weekend of fun and shopping! Since the birth of addy..well, as most people, my clothes don't fit. Some things have just expanded that might never go back, or just haven't yet because it has only been four months! So I am in this awkward stage..but I need clothes..so off we went!! We headed down to seattle and hit up the zoo first on sat..we had a great time there, and I would love to go back again when Addy is older. She was a big fan of the penguins:) Than we headed to dinner at Joeys by seatac and had a delicious meal! Sunday was sleeping in and than shopping at South center mall which i am a BIG fan of!! We did some serious damage at forever 21!! Than headed downtown and did some wandering of the market, had a starbucks at the original starbucks and than some shopping! after that a delicous comfort meal at the cheesecake factory!!!
Monday was the outlets and than home for a quick thanksgiving meal with Daddy D's side of the family..quick meaning we showed up after dinner and had leftovers..but it was still good! All in all a wonderful weekend with family and shoes:) Looking forward though to my next trip involving a beach!!!

2 years ago today....

27 Years Later

almost 27 years ago I wore this little red sleeper. My mom has me attempting to sit up on their be at about the same age wearing this little outfit. How precious and special it is and so hard to believe that almost 27 years later my baby girl is wearing it and doing the exact same thing. Once I can find my picture I will scan it and post it so you can see the resemblance and compare:)!
